ReClaim is a productivity and digital-wellbeing tool, not a medical device, therapeutic product, or mental-health service. It is not designed to diagnose, treat, or cure any condition, including problematic technology use, internet addiction, or any other clinical condition. If you're concerned about your or someone else's relationship with technology in a way that feels beyond a habit you'd like to adjust, please consult a qualified healthcare professional. Nothing in the app or on this website should be treated as clinical guidance.
No guaranteed outcomes
ReClaim is a tool to help you add friction to distracting apps and reduce friction for productive ones, how much your habits change is up to you. We don't guarantee any specific reduction in screen time, improvement in productivity, or other outcome.
Enforcement depends on your device
Blocking, limits, and scheduling rely on Android system APIs (including Usage Access and the Accessibility Service) that behave slightly differently across manufacturers and Android versions. Some devices aggressively restrict background apps to save battery, which can interrupt enforcement until the relevant setting is adjusted (see Support). We work to make enforcement as reliable as possible but can't guarantee it will be unbreakable in every configuration, a determined user can generally still find a way around any launcher-level block, since ReClaim is a tool for intentional friction, not a hard technical lock.
Not a certified parental-control product
While a parent could choose to use ReClaim on a child's device, it is not designed, tested, or certified specifically as a parental-control or child-safety product, and we make no representation that it meets requirements for that use case in your jurisdiction. Parents seeking dedicated child device management should evaluate purpose-built solutions alongside ReClaim.
